Support for Parents and Caregivers of School-Aged Children
What is Family Support Group?
NAMI Family Support Group is a peer-led support group for any adult with a loved one who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. Gain insight from the challenges and successes of others facing similar experiences. You must be 18 or older to join the group.
NAMI’s support groups are unique because they follow a structured model, ensuring everyone has an opportunity to be heard and to get what they need.
- Free of cost
- Designed for adult loved ones of people with mental health conditions
- Led by family members of people with mental health conditions
- 90 minutes long and meets weekly
- No specific medical therapy or treatment is endorsed

LGBTQI+ and Allies Connection Support Group
The LGBTQI+ and Allies Connection Support Group is for adult individuals living with a mental health disorder who identify as LGBTQI+ or questioning. Family members may also attend to learn how best to support their LGBTQI+ or questioning family member who lives with a mental health disorder.
